OVERVIEW
Scriipo is an e-learning platform dedicated to music education, designed for both aspiring musicians and professionals looking to upskill or refine their craft.
In 2024, I was brought on to design the platform’s entire digital ecosystem, including the website, web app, admin dashboard, and mobile app. The goal was to build a space that feels as inspiring as music studio, where learners could connect with expert instructors, take structured courses, and track their musical growth through an engaging digital experience.
Working collaboratively with another designer, I co-designed the website and the instructor dashboard while leading the end to end design of the student dashboard, admin dashboard, and mobile app.

PROBLEM
PROBLEM
Learning music online often lacks the emotional connection, structure, and creativity found in physical lessons. We identified that most top e-learning platforms take a broad, one-size-fits-all approach, making it difficult to serve the unique needs of music learners.
Scriipo set out to bridge that gap by creating a platform that captures the feel of an in-person music studio in a digital space. To address this, we ensure that we balance functionality and inspiration while building a system that’s intuitive enough for beginners, robust enough for professionals, and engaging enough to make users excited to learn, practice, and grow.
RESEARCH & INSIGHTS
To design a platform tailored specifically for music learning, we began by exploring how people currently learn music online and the gaps that exist in existing e-learning experiences.
Through competitor analysis and user interview, we examined how platforms deliver structured learning.
General e-learning platforms(Masterclass, Domestika, Udemy, Skillshare): We observed that while these platforms excel at structured course delivery and user engagement, they cater to a broad audience rather than focusing on the specific needs of music learners but analysing them helped shape a solid foundation for how courses, lessons, and progress tracking could be structured .
Fender play: We also analysed fender play, one of the few platforms dedicated to music which focuses primarily on instrument-based learning , particularly guitar. While its guided learning paths and progress tracking provided inspiration, it also revealed a key gap: a lack of platforms offering a more holistic approach to music education beyond instruments alone.
This insight guided our effort to design Scriipo as a comprehensive music learning ecosystem , one that combines creativity, structure, and expert-led growth.

Transaction : A transparent transaction dashboard that tracks learner subscriptions and instructor payouts, with real-time status updates and advanced filtering options.
Coupons : Tools for creating and customizing discount coupons based on percentage, amount, or duration with real-time tracking and post-creation edit capabilities
Subscription management : A centralized view of all user subscriptions (active, expired, canceled), detailing plan types, billing cycles, and payment statuses.
Teams and roles : Role-based access controls allowing the admin to assign specific permissions while ensuring security and operational hierarch
